Why choose Keto?

I had already tried low carb and fat foods, but what has pushed me to try the keto? In fact, one of my family members had tremendous success with weight loss and energy gain and I was intrigued to try it.

One thing I knew was that I did not want to do a full keto. I also wanted to incorporate low carbohydrate vegetables. I know the benefits of nutrients from plants and I did not want to rule that out. Often, when people think of keto, they think a lot of meat.

There is a way to finish the keto without having to eat meat at every meal. So do not be discouraged if you do not like meat, like me.

I chose keto to lose weight and gain energy. Knowing why you choose keto is important. This will help you stay on the path, especially when cravings come up!

Take a moment and think about why you are interested in starting keto.

Before the first day:

It is really important to build your own knowledge about what is the keto and how it can help your health. This knowledge allows you. It helps you understand and listen to your body.

Try to join our keto training camp to find out what you should do and when. In addition, a free meal plan will be offered!

This knowledge that I acquired was really important. It can be very confusing to learn about macros, fasting, good and bad fats and more! You can of course do this research yourself. I found that being part of a community was very informative and positive.

Another advice is to take pictures before. Sometimes I think the scales are lying to us! But by looking at the pictures, you can be 100% sure when you start losing weight.

What to expect on Keto in the first week:
Day one

During the first day, you feel strong and are sure you can do it. You are 100% committed and committed to making it a lifestyle. Because you had planned your meals yesterday, you are well prepared. Meal times are a kid's game.

In fact, I found that I had too packed my food for work. I was prepared breakfast, morning tea and a hearty lunch. A tip, do not do too much. Because you now add fat to your meals, you do not need to eat huge meals!

I liked to follow my food the first day. This allowed me to see the impact of each food on my overall scores.

What to expect on Keto in the first week:
Second day – three

Over the next two days, you may experience cravings. I noticed that as early as the dinner of the second day, I already wanted candies! I had gone from sugar to every meal (and between meals) to zero. It's a huge fit for the body! The second day, my body was really wondering where the sugar was!

On the third day, I noticed that I had incredibly thirsty. Sometimes I felt that I really needed water and I felt sick if I did not get to my bottle on time. Keeping water on hand is essential during these days while your body is adapting.

What to expect on Keto in the first week:
Fourth day – six

I had a huge win at work during the fourth day, where we shared a tea in the morning. I was super proud of myself when I ignored the food plates filled with carbohydrates. It shocked me that although there is a wide variety of different foods on the table. Not one plate had no carbs and no sugar! Make you understand how carbohydrates and sugar are integrated into our culture.

It is important to celebrate small victories like mine above. These "victories" make you proud and stimulate your momentum. Look for these moments and share them with people who understand them.

Continue to record your food and monitor the amount of water you drink. Thirst has hit me hard in these days!

I continued to share my daily tracking of the macros with the Facebook group and found it very encouraging while others were participating in my progress.

What to expect on Keto in the first week:
Day seven

Yay! You arrived on the seventh day! Celebrate! Although you can not feel like it? The seventh day meant that I was beginning to suffer from keto flu. I had stomach upset and a mild headache.

I must say that the keto flu was not as bad as I imagined. Keep your liquids at this time and keep running. You can do it and you will do it.

On the seventh day, I also stopped and planned my next week. I look at meetings and appointments I might have and plan my meals. I plan my meals and I go shopping on Sundays.

I've also started thinking about how to add exercise to my second week of Keto. I had voluntarily stopped any exercise during the first week and I think it helped reduce the symptoms of the keto flu. This allowed me to concentrate fully on food and provided energy for the day.
