My first step was the exercise. I do all my exercises at home – walking every day on a treadmill and lifting weights. I kept eating what I thought was healthy and I tried to control the size of my portions. At first, I never really followed the calories or used a specific plan. I just started working. But over time, as I started to lose weight, I increased my workout and added new exercises to challenge myself.

It increased my energy, I had to concentrate better at work and my appetite decreased. Then I went to intermittent fasting with keto. They work very well together. I feel healthier and more confident in just about everything I do. Many of my pains are gone. Overall, I am much happier every day. Keto changed my life. This goes against all standard diet ideas. You can eat fat and become lean? Yeah, it's real. I would not be where I am today if I did not adopt this way of eating and I plan to stay there indefinitely.

It's satisfying to look back and see how far I've come and how hard work has paid off. It is also very humbling to encourage people around you to take action and start their own journey to become healthier and better versions of themselves.

Today, I am still a keto diet. I eat a lot of green vegetables and foods high in healthy fats, like avocado, pecans, cheese and meat. And of course, I love bacon.

I also do intermittent fasting and consume my calories in one meal. I have a big dinner every night and fast until dinner the next day. It works very well for me and my schedule. I work 5 to 7 days a week, doing cardio and bodybuilding.

Managing the time needed to work as much as I would like is really difficult. Sometimes I want to eat things I miss, such as rice or refined Italian breads. Every few months, I cheat, like sushi with rice. But there are other things to fill those voids that are just as good.
