The ketogenic diet has been growing in popularity in recent years because of its effectiveness as a dieting.
But what if your fitness goal is to develop and tone your muscles? Is it possible to accomplish this by eating a diet very low in carbohydrates, moderate in protein and high in fat?
This is the question I will explore today because I am evaluating the keto diet's ability to support bodybuilding and toning.
HOW TO BUILD THE MUSCLE

Although these changes are minimal, they add up over time. Consistently, they can lead to noticeable differences, as you have probably noticed at home or at someone you know.
But working is only part of the process. Your body needs some materials with which to build new muscles, where nutrition comes in.
TRADITIONAL MUSCULAR CONSTRUCTION REGIME VS. KETO
You probably have already heard the following phrase: "Protein is the cornerstone of muscle". This statement has become a bit of a cliché in the fitness world, but it's true.
