Is butter coffee or Bulletproof® coffee good for weight loss?
Not really. Of course, if you drink buttered coffee or Bulletproof® coffee instead of having breakfast, you risk losing weight. But you would probably lose even more weight with a breakfast consisting of only black coffee (or just a little milk), namely intermittent fasting.

The main benefits of butter coffee are lasting satiety and energy, and perhaps a sense of mental clarity (due to ketones, and caffeine).
Why add butter and oil to your coffee?
Grease provides satiety and helps reduce cravings. The amount of fat can be adjusted to your taste. It may be a good idea to start with a small amount, say a teaspoon, of MCT oil and progress to a full tablespoon if you are feeling well. Some people have stomach problems if they add too much oil at the same time.
The fat as well as the caffeine of the coffee will give you a boost of energy to start the day well. If caffeine is not your business, go ahead and try it with decaffeinated. This will not give you exactly the same effect, but you will always have a tasty and nourishing drink.
MCT oil can be ordered online, but if you do not want to use it or can not find the place, try the tasteless coconut oil.
