Do you like bread? It's probably the # 1 food that people miss most when it comes to following a low carbohydrate diet.
There are many recipes for keto bread, but in our opinion it is probably the best substitute for keto bread ever.
Here's why: This one is simply amazing, delicious and does not taste as piquant as the other bread recipes. It is light and fluffy and tastes almost tasteless. You can garnish it with sesame seeds. It can absorb egg yolk and not gravelly. This is probably the closest to a normal bread that you can get.
You can use this recipe to make plain bread or subway bread with ham, bacon or meatballs.
You can sprinkle the bread with seeds and fillings such as flakes of salt and herbs before baking. If you make this recipe in 6 pieces of bread, they each contain about 3 grams of net carbs.
You can now have room for creative filling ideas such as chicken pie, smoked chicken, salt and pepper grilled chicken, tuna or meatballs, ham and bacon like a subway sandwich.
You can also use this recipe to make perfect Keto Hamburger buns, like what our friend Hannah from HealyEatsReal.com did here. You absolutely want to follow Hannah on Instagram @healyeatsreal for incredible original recipes and healthy life tips.

Our friend Emma from @lowcarbmalta has just shared with us her version of homemade gluten-free hamburger buns.
His recipe is slightly different from our recipe below. However, we would like to share his version here, so you can try it:
Ingredients for 6 rolls:
- 1 cup of almond flour
- 3 egg whites
- 300 ml of hot water
- 5 tablespoons of psyllium husk
- 2 teaspoons of cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Sesame seeds
- Mix all the ingredients and divide into 6 pieces and form into a ball. Flatten the balloon so that it is about 1 centimeter thick.
- Glaze with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 175 ° C (350 ° F). Enjoy!
If you follow Emma's recipe, the result will be:
Note: Some brands of psyllium husk powder can become purple dough when cooked. It also depends on the order and method you use to combine the ingredients. However, this does not affect the taste.
If you do not want to use psyllium husks, you can try xanthan gum like these Keto burgers.
Prepare this bread on weekends, have a cup of coffee, sit outside in the sun and enjoy your morning. What a nice way to relax!

While preheating the oven to 350 ° F, combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Boil the cup of water and pour this into the bowl. Stir in the egg whites and vinegar as well. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds. Avoid mixing too much. The result should have a consistency similar to that of Play Doh.
Moisten your hands and shape the dough into 4-8 pieces. You can mold them into hamburger buns or hot dogs, depending on your preferences. Spread the dough formed on a greased baking sheet with oil.
Place the sheet on the bottom rack of the oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. The time depends on the size of the bread you have prepared. Check if this is done by tapping the base of the bun. If you hear a hollow sound, remove them from the oven.
Serve with butter or your favorite toppings. Keep them in the fridge or freezer.
